Switch up the citrus from lemon to orange and see how your kids like their broccoli now!

Broccoli L'Orange

Ingredients

  • Broccoli, fresh or frozen
  • Butter and/or a drizzle of olive oil
  • Orange juice (about a quarter to a half a cup)
  • A drizzle of honey

Directions

  1. Melt the butter and/or oil in a frying pan. When it's nice and hot, add orange juice.
  2. Let it sizzle for a few minutes, till some of the OJ has evaporated and the flavor has intensified a bit.
  3. Drizzle a touch of the honey into the sauce you're creating.
  4. Add broccoli, and cook JUST until bright green and done. Keep turning, so it's covered with flavor.
  5. If you want, drizzle a TOUCH more honey - but go easy. Honey's VERY sweet.

Your kids will enjoy this citrus switch from the traditional lemon.
